Project Grants
Project Grant funds are available on a 1:1 matching basis to nonprofit arts and social service organizations that provide arts programs and/or services to the citizens of Tucson and Pima County. Categories include dance, theater, music, literary, visual, multi-disciplinary, festivals, and arts in education. City of Tucson allocations make these grants possible. More about Project Grants.
General Operating Support (GOS) Grants
GOS grants support the general operating expenses of a nonprofit arts organization on a matching basis, based on its non-public income. City of Tucson allocations make these grants possible. More about GOS Grants.
Mini Grants
Technical Assistance Mini Grants of up to $600 are awarded to individuals and non-profit organizations in five categories:
- Basic mini grants support exceptional opportunities;
- Travel mini grants enable recipients to attend workshops or conferences;
- Consultant mini grants assist arts organizations with artistic, management, and/or board development;
- International Exchange mini grants promote artistic exchange between Tucson/Pima County and other countries;
- Neighborhood Initiatives & Cultural Heritage mini grants support programs for the betterment of neighborhoods and/or communities and which reflect or contribute to the awareness of the rich cultural diversity of that community.
Mini grants are suspended for fiscal 2009-1010.
Pima County Arts Project Grants
Pima County Arts Project Grants provide support for programs that contribute to the rural community's participation in the arts and promotes local creativity in the arts. More about Pima County Arts Project Grants
Pima County Youth Art Awards (PCYAA)
PCYAA is an awards program designed to identify, recognize and encourage talented high school seniors within Pima County who demonstrate excellence in Dance, Music, Theater, Visual Arts, Media Arts, or Literary Arts. Pima Community College awards scholarships between $1000 and $2000 toward an Associates Degree in the Arts. More about PCYAA scholarships.
