The festival will take place on Toole Ave, 5th Ave, at the Hotel Congress and Maynards Market, animating the streets and experience of downtown Tucson, Arizona with live music, performance, interactivity, food, non-profit and for profit arts organizations and more. You won't want to miss participating in the fun!
The Tucson Pima Arts Council partners with the HoCo Festival to celebrate arts and cultural enrichment with FREE Family Friendly Arts and Cultural activities. The private public partnership is also an opportunity to provide the public with a showcase of local classes, workshops, programs and organizations who provide access to the arts all year long. The Tucson Pima Arts Council (TPAC) is the designated local arts agency for the City of Tucson and Pima County. TPAC fosters artistic expression, educational development and the economic growth of our diverse community by supporting, promoting and advocating for arts and culture.

Tucson Circus Arts’ mission is to provide the highest quality and most diverse physical theater, circus and performance training available. We encourage a balanced program of circus, dance, theater, music, martial arts and craft-developing body, mind and spirit thru multi disciplinary activity. Our board and teachers are both nationally and internationally based and always expanding. TCA’s directive is to further perpetuate Circus as a fine art form. Uniting physical theater, dance, music, martial arts and circus arts we believe is the key to helping create well rounded, talented and empowered performers of all kinds.

Join NEW ARTiculations company dancers in "FLOW" a community-based dance project using modern dance to illuminate water issues and celebrate our connection to the Santa Cruz River. Activities will incorporate movement and watershed education for all ages and a short performance.
11:00 am Mama Baby Dada mamababydada.org
In Mama/Baby/Dada we investigate the territories of work and play that parent and child inhabit, creating maps, transcriptions and legends in collaboration with our children. We invite parents and their children to participate in this ongoing series of map-making cycles and view how their work develops over time.
12:00 pm Dambe Project www.dambe.org
The Dambe Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that specializes in African performing arts education and mentorship. We utilize African arts to create spaces for youth and adults to practice community solidarity, positive self-esteem and cultural diversity. Both the Dambe Project and Collective Awakening utilize indigenous music from West and East Africa. Instruments include drums, thumb pianos and harps. Martin Klabunde will perform for the entire family.

About Stories that Soar! merges the talents of multi-skilled adult performers with children’s original stories in creating innovative, insightful and culturally relevant theatre. Batucaxé is a drum and dance ensemble and school in Tucson, Arizona. Inspired by the music and dance of Brazil, Batucaxé (pronounced bah-too-cah-SHEH) features the music and movement of many traditions, from Brazil and all over the world. Join Batucaxé in a participatory dance class on the TPAC stage.

That's why they're proud to sponsor free music hours each week in our stores, and this year on the HoCo FAF festival stage. Come down to the TPAC HoCo Stage and check out Story Tunes an hour of free hands-on fun and music making for your little ones, accompanied by interactive storytelling and songs.
