Navigations
A New Exhibition at the Historic Pioneer Building
Working in a variety of media, the artists included in Navigations run from the abstract to the narrative and pictorial. Yet all of the works on display engage the eye in visual exploration, whether over formalistic fields of color and texture or through landscapes of memory and sensation … or even via aerial flights into the deep reaches of outer space.
Navigations, now open, will remain on display through January 10th . A public reception will be held on Nov. 3, from 5.30 to 7 PM to which everyone is welcome. The featured artists include Kevin Barbro (charcoal, graphite, ink and collage), Bob Kray II (acrylic and ink), Michelle Rouch (oil paint and gold plate) and Archie Sutton (copper, resin, wood).
This is the first show in an exciting new season of exhibitions curated by Sally Krommes, TPAC Public Art Coordinator, and hosted by the historic Pioneer Building, located in Downtown Tucson.
All artists were selected by a panel made up of arts professionals and community members. Exhibitions run for approximately 3 months and feature a public reception. For more information, please call 520-624-0595 x 16.
